Thank you for visiting my page. Â
Thanks to some people dear to me, I developed  an appreciation for old things, vintage, handmade, craftsmanship, creativity, and the joy that comes from finishing or fixing something on my own.  During college I took a trip to my uncle’s cabinet shop to work on a project, and that was my first time playing with the big tools.  I loved it, but didn’t realize just how much until fairly recently.Â
I love color, but try hard not to use paint on antiques.  I don’t have a particular style, and tend to sit with pieces a while before starting on them.  I often change direction mid-piece for any number of reasons, including happy accidents, curiousity killing my cat (happens far more than I’d care to admit), or newly discovered debacles (like I sand down to bare wood only to discover a burn mark, for example). Â
I always have a project or twelve, and am waiting for the hubs to tell me to move out and take my projects with, but alas (and luckily) he’s too kind to do so. Â
Our clan – the hubs, 3 minis, and 2 dogs – resides not far from the Twin Cities. Â
