I’ve always loved to create beautiful spaces in my home. A low budget but expensive taste is what kick started my refinishing journey in my college years. I’ve been refinishing my own furniture since then, but then realized it was a process that brought me joy, and that I have an eye for color and finding vintage pieces with potential. My transition into motherhood, move to the twin cities, and time away from my day job as a physical therapist, made space for me pursue my creative outlet as a business. It’s truly my time to decompress after chasing toddlers and working in the clinic. I’ve been refinishing to sell in the twin cities for just over a year now. Honestly the extra money has been so helpful in paying off medical bills and keeping up with student loans. I’m hoping to get to the point where it can be used for more fun things like vacations, but kids and school are expensive!
MY STYLE
I gravitate towards mid-century modern pieces with neutral colors for today’s home. I love mixing styles, as my own house is a mix of traditional, mid-century modern, and modern rustic. I strive for my pieces to be something that would work well in most buyers’ homes.
INSPIRATION
art, nature and interior design. I love the process of finding a piece, imaging it’s potential and bringing it to life.
