Refinished Vintage Mid-Century Modern Desk

Completely refinished and ready for its next chapter, this vintage MCM desk shows off that gorgeous walnut grain we all love—warm, rich, and full of character. It came to me, having been well-loved kind, and while the top still carries a few subtle signs of that journey, it only adds to its story—I’m honestly pretty proud of how it turned out.

At some point, a previous owner converted the center drawer into a keyboard tray (hello early 2000s), but I’ve brought it back home with a custom drawer front designed to echo the tapered legs. The result? A clean, cohesive look with plenty of storage and just the right amount of personality.
