I am Mary Cain and I started refinishing furniture 3 years ago after following others on Facebook who rehab furniture.  I was captivated by the artistry of their work.  I was hooked.  My very first piece was painting an antique dresser for my daughter, which turned out beautiful.  I started buying Wise Owl products for my furniture painting, which I love and impressed with the quality of their products.   I decided that each piece will  need to be a learning experience challenging me to grow as a furniture artist.  All of my learnings really started with my desire to remodel/redesign my home and this is just an extension of that.   I was fortunate to have a father who was a handyman and sometimes I see my dad in me.  I am a continuous learner, and if I don't know something, I will google it.  I love painting and rehabbing the furniture, it is very rewarding when you see the results or try something challenging and then see success.
